I, as well as anyone, understand that we are running a business in the Aerie Lounge, and need to operate on that basis. But we as a club with over 12,000 members must do our best to provide the diverse facilities required for ALL our members. There was a
discussion regarding the pool tables and the addition of a third bowling machine. At the last meeting. The Trustees have promised through compromise, to accommodate all our members and their activities.

If you are a sports fan this is the best time of the year. We have purchased the NFL package, even though the price has doubled. So this year as last you will be able to view all your favorite games

Well by the time this note goes to print summer will be officially over and that means a lot of great events will be coming our way. There is one thing though that I would like to stress. I have heard some comments about the ticket pricing scale of some of the events. The reason is that a lot of our members wait until the very last minute to buy their tickets. The increased price is an incentive to get your tickets early; here's why. Ordering the right amount of food for the event is crucial to making it a success.. Having enough dinners for all the guests while not overbuying prevents a potential waste. The other reason is that a late ticket buyer may
find that the special dinner for the event will no longer be available and their dinner selection will be limited. We have done some pretty marvelous things in that kitchen. The least we can do is try not to make their job harder.
